I've always hated Delta, but the 'coup de grace' happened five minutes ago. So until further notice, Sue and I do not have a flight booked home for Thanksgiving.

Do not tangle with the big boys. . . you might find yourself in a window seat across from the bathrooms next to one of the 500 lb. passengers - and it might be me! And you might not be here on Thanksgiving with all of us. . . that would be a tragedy:(

My prediction is Delta will eventually reap the rewards of its customer service policy. What does Delta offer that Southwest doesn't? Besides a headache? My prediction is they'll soon be filing for bankrupcy (again) or will be gobbled up by another airline. Bon voyage, Delta :)
